THE ROCKS DISTRICT AVA. Is within the Walla Walla Valley AVA entirely on the Oregon side of the Valley.  Established in 2015 and nestled in the foothills of the Blue Mountains near the town of Milton-Freewater Or.  Mineral rich, coarse rocky soils from which this district is named are know to impart distinctive characteristics to the wines produced from those grapes. 

 Each design is informed by the unique features that distinguish that area from the surrounding regions.
